Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an experienced Radiological Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Group. You will work on design and engineering of radiation monitoring systems for existing and new nuclear plants, interfacing with clients and project teams across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes deep knowledge of radiation detectors, calibration methods, and NRC licensing guidance, with opportunities for travel and collaboration on complex international projects.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum of 10 years experience with radiation monitoring systems, detectors, and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with clients on radiological engineering projects.
• Design and engineering of upgrades and modifications to nuclear plants.
• Travel to client offices and plant sites for project meetings; domestic and international travel possible.
