Kaiser Permanente in California seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and operate radiographic equipment. You will assist physicians, ensure high-quality imaging, and maintain safety standards for patients and staff.

You will also participate in fluoroscopy procedures where required, prepare images for reading, and help train new hires on imaging protocols and radiation safety. This role supports patient care within the Imaging Services department.

Qualificações

• Two (2) years of experience in IR or one year in a Specialty with ARRT Certification in that Specialty.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist licenses for Fluoroscopy and Venipuncture, plus Basic Life Support and ACLS when required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Prepares and positions patients for imaging; adjusts immobilization devices for optimum views.
• Determines exposure factors and positions equipment to obtain detailed, accurate images.
• Operates radiologic equipment in OR, ER, or bedside; assists radiologists with fluoroscopy.
• Prepares images for radiologist review and ensures quality control.
• Maintains equipment, performs basic repairs, and records work performed.
