Kaiser Permanente in California seeks a Radiologic Technologist II to operate radiographic equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role includes fluoroscopy, GI and plain tomography in OR/ER settings, with emphasis on patient positioning, safety, and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has an accredited radiologic technology program and California RT certification with ARRT and fluoroscopy credentials, plus BLS. Shift variations and no guaranteed hours are possible.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited educational program in diagnostic radiologic technology approved by the AMA/ACR.
• Radiologic Technologist certification (California) and Fluoroscopy certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT certification.

Responsabilidades

• Operates radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic studies with high-quality images.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Maintains patient safety, proper shielding, and radiation protection practices.
• Centering tube/film to area of interest and ensure correct patient identification on films.
• Documents clinical activities accurately and adheres to department policies.
• May perform a range of exams including GI studies, plain tomography, and ER/OR-related imaging.
