UT-Battelle's Oak Ridge National Laboratory seeks a senior technical leader to oversee our radioisotope production program. You will guide a multidisciplinary team inside the REDC LCO within the IPMD, delivering high-purity isotopes for medical and research applications at ORNL's facilities, including HFIR and shielded cells.

Responsibilities include leading 6–10 engineers and technicians, maintaining safety and compliance, developing schedules, and driving process improvements to meet cost,

Formación

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with chemical processing techniques such as solvent extraction and ion exchange.
• Experience reading radioanalytical data (gamma, alpha, and mass spectroscopy).
• Experience developing schedules and work plans for complex projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to produce radioisotopes in a nuclear facility.
• Meet cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate processing to quality standards (Ac-225) per DMF.
• Oversee legacy material inventory and dispensing portfolio.
• Maintain resource-loaded schedules with project controls.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear facility operations requirements.
• Mentor early career staff and develop on-the-job training programs.
• Seek continuous improvement and robust manufacturing processes.
