Ideal candidates have a 2-year radiation therapy program, MD state licensure, ARRT registration, CPR certification, and 5+ years of experience in radiation therapy. On-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 2-year training program in radiation therapy.
• Registered in radiation therapy by ARRT.
• Licensed by the State of Maryland.
• CPR certification (Heart Saver).

Responsibilities

• Reviews treatment charts for prescription, monitor units and dose.
• Delivers radiation treatment per prescription and plan.
• Maintains patient care and safety per procedures.
• Documents treatment records accurately.
• Explains procedures to patient/family and refers questions appropriately.
• Supports daily operation of treatment machines and CT.
• Provides on-call coverage for emergencies (Sat/Sun).
• Trains and supervises RTT staff.
