Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or higher with relevant experience in radiation protection and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with health physics, accelerator safety, and radiological materials.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal, state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead high hazard radiological work planning and safety controls.
• Analyze radiological safety engineering concepts to maintain a safe workplace.
• Perform hazard reviews and oversee shielding design requirements.
• Respond to radiological emergencies and investigate incidents.
• Maintain relationships with Laboratory personnel to support objectives.
