Job summary

Raytheon in the United States is seeking a Senior System Integration & Test Engineer to support an early warning radar program within the SI&T Long Range Radars Department. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with Linux, hardware/software integration, and rigorous troubleshooting in test lab environments.

You will install and configure hardware with software builds, develop test plans, analyze data, support verification events, and travel up to 20% internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.
• Experience with systems integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure electronic hardware setups with software builds in a String facility/HWIL for integration, verification, and test activities.
• Interface hardware with software, configure hardware/software to interface with networked systems and maintain documentation for test plans and activities.
• Support integration and test planning/execution, verification events, data analysis, and status updates to program engineers/leads.
• Support integration activities using test equipment and navigate schematics, documentation, and drawings.
• Collaborate with program leads to generate test approaches, maintain configuration control, and participate in reviews.
• Ensure test processes follow established procedures for software and hardware.
• Willingness to support 20% international travel and possible off-shift hours.
