Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Radar System Engineer with a strong background in weather radar and data processing to lead system requirements, architecture, and verification activities.

You will develop link budgets, run radar system simulations, and ensure robust verification plans. The role includes mentoring, proposal development to grow R&D, and maintaining an in-office schedule of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in remote sensing is required.
• US citizenship is required.
• Position requires in-office work at least 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Strong background in weather radar and weather radar data processing.
• Create link budgets and perform analysis.
• Conduct radar system simulation and analysis.
• Develop System and Subsystem Requirements Flowdown (Hardware, Firmware, Software).
• Prepare Compliance Matrix and Verification Plans for System and Subsystems.
• Plan and execute Verification Testing.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; create workarounds to keep programs on schedule.
• Design Software/Firmware System Architecture, Block Diagrams, Flow Charts and Verification.
• Stay current with new technology publications and competitor products; promote the company’s capabilities.
• Seek proposals for new business to grow the R&D base.
• Grow the team through new hires and mentor/train staff as opportunities arise.
