Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in Colorado is seeking a senior radar systems engineer with a strong background in weather radar and data processing to lead system development.

You will develop link-budget analyses, simulate radar systems, and downflow system and subsystem requirements for hardware, firmware, and software, while mentoring the team and driving proposals.

Qualifications

• Engineering Master’s degree with emphasis in remote sensing and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Office-based role: must work in the office a minimum of 40 hours/5 days per week.
• Strong background in weather radar and weather radar data processing.
• Experience developing System/Subsystem Requirements Flowdown and Verification Plans.

• Schedule development and maintenance, create work arounds to keep programs on schedule

• Stay abreast of new technology publications, competitor products and originate articles promoting the company and professional capabilities
• Seek out and submit proposals for new business to grow the R&D base
• Grow team through new hires, as sales permit, and proactive mentoring and training

Requirements:
