Job summary

RTX seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support LTAMDS and GhostEye Radars, spanning concept to deployment. You will develop requirements, interfaces, and verification plans while guiding a multi-disciplinary team across hardware and software domains.

The role offers onsite work with opportunities to travel to RTX facilities and customer sites. A STEM degree and 5+ years in systems engineering are required, with hands-on experience in formal tools and programming languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 5+ years engineering experience.
• Experience with systems software, hardware, requirements, integration, and/or test.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, interfaces, and operations concepts.
• Lead testing efforts with plans, procedures, and verification documentation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot hardware, software, and systems issues.
• Drive performance improvements across functions.
• Develop and execute models to predict system performance.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and stakeholders.
• Prepare integration documentation and communicate results to leadership.
• Conduct data analysis of radar performance to verify requirements.
• Present findings to leadership and customers.
• Travel up to 20% for mission support at various locations.
