Job summary

V2X is seeking a Senior Radar Engineer/Scientist to support US Navy/USMC radar systems at Dahlgren, VA. The role requires an active Secret Clearance and onsite work.

You will contribute across the acquisition lifecycle, from concept exploration through sustainment, supporting systems such as DBR, G/ATOR, SPY-1/ SPY-6, ERDDS, and ECDCS. Responsibilities include developing SE plans, performing analyses, and creating test/evaluation documentation.

Qualifications

• Must meet one or more of the listed education options (ABET- or related degrees).
• General sensor engineering experience required with flexible years based on degree.
• Specialized radar system engineering experience required (2+ years).
• Active Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute systems engineering plans from requirements through verification.
• Plan and execute engineering strategies per approved acquisition plans.
• Provide technical analysis and systems engineering support for architecture, interoperability, and specs.
• Create test and evaluation documentation and laboratory testing plans.
• Draft system/subsystem specifications ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Support signal processing work including waveform and electronic protection development.
• Field or lab work on USN/USMC programs; offshore ship/shore environments as needed.
