Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related experience.
• Understanding of communication theory.
• Understanding of probability and statistics.
• Demonstrated systems engineering capability including radar architecture and requirements analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar languages.
• U.S. Citizen with security clearance or ability to obtain one (Secret).

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer radar requirements and develop hardware and software requirements.
• Simulate radar performance to define waveform design, signal processing and tracker updates.
• Develop Electronic Protection Techniques for robust radar performance.
• Develop verification methods for radar requirements with the customer.
• Develop test plans and support radar field tests and environmental tests.
• Perform FMECA and develop Built-in-Test for fault detection and isolation.
• Maintain size, weight, power and cooling budgets and allocate to subsystems.
• Interface with customer.
• Support Reliability and Maintainability analysis by the supplier.
