Job summary
Aptiv is seeking a Radar System Engineer to drive the development of next-generation radar systems for automotive applications. You will own critical radar algorithms, model radar sensors, and collaborate with global teams to push innovation from concept through validation.
The role emphasizes leadership in technology development, anechoic chamber testing, and vehicle-level testing on closed courses and public roads.
Qualifications
- Master's degree with 3+ years of experience OR Ph.D. with 1+ years in engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field.
- Extensive experience in radar system development, including algorithm design and radar sensor modeling.
- Proficiency in radar simulation tools and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Drive development of next-gen radar systems from inception to realization, including requirements analysis and architecture.
- Lead ownership of key radar algorithms and design aspects for robust performance.
- Lead early-stage sensor development using radar modeling and simulation techniques.
- Collaborate across a global team to guide radar development efforts.
