Aptiv is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems, Radar leader to guide an engineering team at the Indiana Technical Center in Carmel, IN. The role focuses on driving roadmaps, resolving escalations, staffing, and advancing competency development while ensuring adherence to Automotive SPICE practices.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in automotive or consumer electronics, strong leadership, and deep systems engineering expertise, with a passion for safety-focused mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Automotive or Consumer Electronics.
• Ability to own engineering capabilities and lead teams.
• Proven engineering leadership and collaboration skills.
• Experience with systems engineering and product engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Program Managers on roadmaps.
• Resolve technical product escalations and prevent future issues.
• Staff resources to product teams and resolve conflicts.
• Develop competency roadmaps by tracking industrial trends.
• Lead vehicle systems engineering and checkout activities.
• Plan AGILE iterations with project and product owners.
• Oversee architectures and ensure on-time delivery to quality standards.
• Support pursuit activities and product demos.
• Interface with strategic partners on interface definitions.
