Job summary
Aptiv's Indiana Technical Center in Carmel seeks an Embedded Systems, Radar leader to drive an engineering team across adjacent markets, guiding roadmap development and achieving high system-level performance.
You will collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Program Managers, manage staffing, mentor engineers, and ensure ADAS radar initiatives meet Automotive SPICE standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years in Automotive or Consumer Electronics.
- Ability to own engineering capabilities for a competency.
- Experience managing engineering teams.
- Collaborative leader who builds trust for teamwork and cooperation.
- Deep knowledge of systems engineering and best practices in product engineering.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and TPMs on roadmaps.
- Resolve technical product escalations and prevent recurrences.
- Staff product teams and resolve staffing conflicts.
- Develop competency roadmap via industry trends with TPMs and Product Manager.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and apply to development.
