Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Principal Radar Software Engineer in Agoura Hills, CA to lead development of radar signal-processing software and tools. You will work with algorithm and software teams to deploy radar algorithms in prototype systems and scale tooling for multiple programs.

The role emphasizes hands-on embedded development, Matlab/C++ implementation, and real-time data processing with logging and visualization. Collaborative, leadership-oriented environment at Aptiv.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in embedded software, parallel processing, and radar signal processing.
• Experience with Matlab and C++ in radar software development.
• Familiarity with radar algorithm collaboration and DSP/accelerator usage.

Responsibilities

• Create, deploy and maintain radar signal-processing software and tools.
• Support radar teams in deploying algorithms in prototypes.
• Develop and manage DevOps tooling for projects.
• Implement Matlab-based radar tools for internal customers.
• Design real-time radar systems with logging and visualization.
• Provide technical leadership for world-class software in automotive radar.
