Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Software Engineer in the Advanced Engineering Active Safety group at the Agoura Hills, CA Tech Center. You will work with radar and perception teams to implement, test, and deploy radar signal processing and perception algorithms, and own software libraries used across Aptiv teams.

The role emphasizes data logging, visualization, DevOps, and collaboration with global teams to deliver safe, innovative mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with parallel processing, multi-threading, and debugging large codebases.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux, C++11/14, and developing DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, deploy, maintain and use software for data logging and visualization.
• Support algorithm teams in deploying rapid-prototyping algorithms for in-vehicle systems.
• Manage and develop DevOps tools.
• Manage data provided by internal teams and external customers.
• Write scripts and tools for offline data analysis, algorithm validation, and regression testing.
• Work with sensing and perception experts to design data visualization and issue mining.
• Maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop toolchains.
• Become an owner of software libraries and tools used by global Aptiv teams.
• Support internal and external customers, world-wide.
