NVIDIA seeks an exceptional Senior Radar Perception Engineer to design and productize its autonomous driving perception stack. You will work on a core radar and multi‑modal pipeline, shaping architecture and implementing transformer‑based models across radar, camera, and LiDAR data.

Qualifications

• 12 years of hands-on experience in deep learning–based perception, radar signal processing, or related systems.
• Strong PyTorch background and track record of production-ready deployments.
• Proficient in Python and/or C++ for high-performance software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across AI, hardware, and safety teams.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Architect radar-based 3D obstacle perception stack and roadmap for autonomous driving.
• Conduct research to maximize radar point cloud information at all representation levels.
• Design 3D perception models and multi-sensor fusion (camera, radar, LiDAR).
• Evaluate radar sensors and optimize layouts for L2–L4 driving scenarios.
• Develop production-grade DL models with large-scale pretraining and LoRA fine-tuning.
