Job summary

RTX’s Radar Performance and Analysis team in Woburn, MA is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to evaluate radar data and drive end-to-end performance assessments for the AN/TPY-2 program. This onsite role requires strong systems engineering, data analytics, and scripting skills to deliver actionable insights for leadership and military stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with test methodology, data analysis, scripting, and/or software development.
• Proficiency with Matlab, Python, Perl, C/C++, Unix and/or Linux.

Responsibilities

• Parse, process, and analyze raw sensor data to evaluate algorithm performance and tracking accuracy.
• Conduct scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve observations.
• Lead system-level requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability across V&V lifecycle.
• Establish and report on KPMs and TPMs, monitor performance trends and risks.
• Develop MATLAB and Python scripts to automate large-scale data ingestion and reporting.
