Job summary

The role requires a BS in a technical field, active Secret clearance (Top Secret eligible), and 10+ years of federal systems experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or related field.
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret eligible.
• 10+ years of relevant experience across multiple engineering domains.
• Experience with large federal technology initiatives.
• Subject matter expertise in telecommunications, imagery, sensors, radar, or related systems.
• Ability to perform research and analysis outside core education.
• Hands-on test and evaluation across various phases.
• Federal project management across lifecycle phases.
• Federal acquisition process experience for systems and services.
• Lifecycle cost estimation and budget planning expertise.

Responsibilities

• Define system concepts and architectures to support modernization.
• Lead collection and refinement of mission requirements and specs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for mission applicability.
• Draft and refine system specifications and interface requirements.
• Support acquisition strategy and system lifecycle management.
• Coordinate integration across engineering domains and components.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and alternative assessments.
• Prepare investment justifications and technical documentation.
• Plan and guide system testing and analyze test data.
• Conduct engineering analyses on feasibility, risk, and performance.
• Provide expertise in aircraft subsystems, especially cooling and power distribution.
• Apply radar and sensor knowledge to integration efforts.
