Job summary

Walmart seeks a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support repair and maintenance of refrigeration systems at Walmart facilities. You will utilize commercial HVAC/R skills, tools, and a work order system to manage repairs and respond to emergencies.

Minimum qualifications include 3–6 years in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration, EPA Type I/II or universal certification, and a valid driver's license with clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration (minimum).
• 6 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration with AAS preferred.
• Type I and Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
• Receive and document repair work orders to support stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures to identify issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
