Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration equipment at Walmart facilities. You will utilize commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, and digital tools to complete jobs in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires extensive refrigeration experience, EPA refrigerant handling certification, and a state driver’s license with a clean MVR. Physical demands include lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal)
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR
• 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support Stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities/equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for equipment operation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines.
