Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of refrigeration HVAC equipment in Walmart facilities. The role requires hands-on HVAC/R work, tool use, and adherence to safety and EPA guidelines.

Applicants should have 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR. The position involves lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following safety policies.
