Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our Canon City store. You will support and oversee repair of refrigeration and HVAC assets, using commercial skills, hand tools, digital tools, and other equipment to complete jobs on site.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale rack refrigeration, EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment with safety compliance and

Qualifications

10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large-scale rack refrigeration experience.
EPA Type I/II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate tools and equipment.
Utilize the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies and guidelines.
Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights frequently.
