Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Financial Reporting / Record to Report Controllership Senior Consultant to help modernize core processes and improve decision-making within finance transformation initiatives. You will assess controllership, define target-state opportunities, and develop roadmaps across people, process, technology, and governance, working with platforms like Workiva and BlackLine.

You will lead delivery, support proposals and recruiting, and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance transformation, financial planning and analysis, or cost accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Risk Management, or Economics.
• One or more professional credentials (CPA, CIA, CFA, CA, CCA, CMA, CAIA, FRM) or progress toward one.
• Experience with automation tools, including Alteryx workflows or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Ability to travel 50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state controllership processes, identify gaps, and define target-state opportunities
• Develop transformation roadmaps and solution hypotheses across people, process, technology, and governance
• Apply accounting, regulatory, and compliance requirements to finance transformation initiatives
• Design improvements across finance data, cost transparency, close and consolidation, and reporting processes
• Manage day-to-day client delivery, engagement planning, and support proposals and recruiting
• Support Record to Report processes and close activities using platforms such as Workiva and BlackLine, including account reconciliations, close checklists, and financial reporting workflows
