Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Cleared Senior/Principal Systems Engineer & Project Lead, onsite, to shape and deliver advanced RF/microwave systems for critical national security applications. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, owning requirements across the lifecycle, and coordinating with DoW/DOE/IC partners.

Applicants should hold a relevant bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience, and must be able to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance with SCI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Five years of directly relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCI access, with polygraph if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical R&D and systems engineering activities across the full product lifecycle, including requirements development and traceability, verification and validation, risk management, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership across all phases from concept to deployment and sustainment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and programmatic risks to enable timely delivery.
