Job summary

GSK is seeking an Associate Director, Pipeline Project Management for Business Development to lead R&D projects from diligence through BAU. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and guide risk mitigation and knowledge transfer across therapeutic areas.

This role emphasizes governance readiness, integration planning, and value realization in BD opportunities, with exposure to complex matrix environments and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field required.
• Experience with risk, budgets, and resource management in a global PM context preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide R&D project management throughout diligence, contracting, and integration to support BAU.
• Develop integrated cross-functional development plans aligning strategy, timelines, costs, and key value drivers.
• Facilitate cross-functional evaluation of development and integration scenarios and mitigate risks.
• Liaise with BD colleagues to ensure SMEs are included in diligence and knowledge transfer discussions.
• Manage moderately complex R&D integration, separation, and reversion activities across therapies.
• Drive governance readiness through high-quality plans, risk assessments, and recommendations.
