Job summary

GSK is seeking an Associate Director for Global Program Management (Oncology) to lead integrated project plans across oncology assets. You will partner with project leads to drive strategy, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional execution, ensuring rigorous governance and fast decision making.

The role requires a BA/BS and 7+ years of PM experience in pharmaceutical R&D, with proficiency in PM tools and risk management.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 7+ years of project management experience in a matrix environment.
• Experience with PM principles/methods (e.g., PMI/PMBOK).
• Experience building and maintaining project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Experience using PM tools (Planisware, MS Project).
• Experience facilitating project team meetings and governance interactions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate asset and evidence strategy and develop the integrated project plan.
• Own the single integrated plan with clear dependencies and budgets.
• Lead options planning and tradeoffs to optimize strategy.
• Prepare teams for governance decisions and manage inputs (schedule, risk, budget).
• Accelerate critical path activities by challenging constraints.
• Ensure timely, high-quality data reporting across projects.
