Job summary

US Pharma Lab's Senior Manager, R&D will lead multiple product development programs through research, scale-up, and commercialization, ensuring cGMPs and FDA requirements are met.

You will provide technical and managerial leadership to the R&D team, collaborate across Production, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, and Commercial groups, and drive strategy, priority setting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8–12+ years in product development, formulation, and commercialization.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or people management.
• Strong experience with tablets, capsules, powders, beadlets, and dosage forms.
• Experience scaling from lab to commercial manufacturing; CDMO background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the R&D function for new product development and line extensions.
• Supervise and develop a team of formulation scientists and R&D staff.
• Establish priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timelines are met.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Regulatory, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
• Drive process improvements and technology transfer from R&D to Production.
• Ensure compliance with cGMPs, FDA regulations, and dietary supplement standards.
