Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 7+ years in formulation/R&D within an FDA-regulated industry.
• Experience leading R&D teams and complex product development projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and workflow within the R&D department.
• Manage R&D projects with progress updates and timely completion.
• Check, approve, and revise final formulas, batch records, and quotes.
• Troubleshoot lab pilots and manufacturing batches to ensure scale-up success.
• Draft accurate manufacturing mixing instructions and batch records.
• Advise clients and internal teams on formulations and product development.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and manage change controls and SOPs.
• Train and mentor R&D staff and foster collaboration.
• Support supplier evaluations and raw material selections.
