Job summary

Dow Industrial Solutions seeks a Senior R&D Leader based in Collegeville, PA (with team in Midland, MI). You will lead a multidisciplinary team of researchers, specialists, technicians, and contractors supporting product and application development for the Cleaning Growth Platform, plus other DIS segments.

This role combines people leadership with safe, compliant lab operations, portfolio management, stage-gate processes, and collaboration across Product R&D, TS&D, Process R&D, EI&G R&D,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
• Strong commitment to safe operations and responsible research practices.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site R&D team; set priorities, allocate resources, manage performance, and foster engagement.
• Develop, prioritize, and manage the Home Care Cleaning R&D portfolio and related platforms.
• Lead cross-functional teams and translate strategy into actionable research plans.
• Oversee project delivery with rigorous scientific methods and clear documentation.
• Champion IP strategies, including patent filings, and partner across functions to advance commercialization.
• Engage external partners and manage budgets, capital plans, and investments.
