Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Technical/Product Development professional to identify new opportunities within the pressure sensitive industry and deliver robust, financially sound product solutions. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, customers, and internal teams to define market needs and manage initiatives from concept through qualification.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of technical product development experience and a BS in Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, or Materials

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of technical/product development experience in related industry.
BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, or Materials Science & Engineering.
Background in paper and paper coatings; knowledge of PSA materials.

Responsibilities

Define gaps in GBP’s product portfolio and identify new growth opportunities in PSA.
Work with customers to capture wants, needs and value of new technologies.
Develop new products meeting CTQs; define manufacturing and quality specs.
Partner with Manufacturing and Procurement on product/ process developments and improvements.
Serve as internal subject matter expert on paper and related coatings.
Stay abreast of new paper technologies and PSA industry trends.
Lead new raw material qualifications in a timely fashion.
Support process optimization and troubleshooting in the manufacturing plant.
This is an on-site position at the Division Headquarters in Green Bay, WI.
