TE Connectivity is seeking a Senior R&D Product Development Engineer to lead high-speed cable assembly design from concept to production release. You will translate Voice of Customer into specifications and develop solutions in collaboration with customers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.

You will create CAD designs, validate with prototypes, drive DFMEA and product qualification, and support manufacturing and field deployments across regions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in high-speed cable assembly design and development or related cable assembly engineering.
• Experience taking products from concept through qualification, production launch and lifecycle management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of high-speed cable assembly products from concept through production release.
• Gather and translate customer requirements into product concepts and specifications.
• Develop technical proposals and engineering solutions for customers.
• Create 2D/3D cable assembly designs, routing drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Build prototypes, perform validation testing, and drive design improvements.
• Complete product qualification activities and finalize documentation.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and production teams for product launches.
• Troubleshoot issues and manage ECNs/PCNs.
• Support customer installations and field issues.
• Develop understanding of customer applications and market needs.
