Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Test and Validation Engineer to design and verify high-speed test systems for cable assemblies used in data centers and wireless infrastructure.

You will lead hardware and software validation, develop test fixtures, analyse lab data, and collaborate with global teams across design, development, and manufacturing to deliver robust, verifiable product performance.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert in high-speed test systems and validation activities through product development cycles.
• Testing, performance enhancement, and validation of high-speed cable assemblies using BERTs, network switches, traffic generators, etc.
• Establishing testing requirements for new products based on electrical and software specifications.
• Development of high-speed cables test systems/fixtures from conception to manufacturing deployment.
• Test system architecture, system diagramming, test software, hardware build, and validation into manufacturing of product.
• Creating actionable recommendations based upon design reviews and product specifications.
• Making data driven decisions about the product functionality and areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead test and validation activities for high-speed products across development stages.
• Design and implement test systems and fixtures from concept to production.
• Analyze lab data to identify issues and drive fixes across teams.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and software groups to ensure robust validation.
