TE Connectivity is seeking a Staff R&D Product Development Engineer to lead the design and development of high-speed cable assemblies. You will drive projects from market definition to production release, translating customer needs into innovative, manufacturable solutions.

Collaborate with customers, product managers, sales, manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams worldwide. You will develop 2D/3D designs, build prototypes, perform validation, and manage documentation, ECNs/PCNs,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in high-speed cable assembly design and development.
• Experience delivering products from concept through qualification and production launch.
• Experience with global cross-functional teams in an engineering environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of high-speed cable assembly products from concept through production release.
• Gather and translate customer requirements (Voice of Customer) into product concepts and specifications.
• Develop technical proposals and engineering solutions for customers.
• Create detailed 2D/3D cable assembly designs, routing drawings, BOMs.
• Build prototypes, conduct validation testing, and drive design improvements.
• Support manufacturing, quality, and production teams during launches.
• Manage ECNs and PCNs & resolve field-related issues.
• Collaborate with global teams to meet cost, quality, and timeline objectives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and change notices.
