Job summary

Advanced Ceramic Coatings, LLC (ACC) is a joint venture between GE Aerospace and Lincotek Surface Solutions and a leader in ready-to-engine airfoil coatings for aviation components. The Senior Engineer will develop and optimize end-to-end fluid-based coating processes and participate in R&D activities on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include process variable analysis, equipment operation and calibration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive improvements, on-time product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Mechanical or Robotic Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum ten years in engineering/manufacturing.
• Lean, TPS, and/or Six Sigma knowledge required.
• Experience with machine SOW, IQ/OQ/PQ, TPM strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reference for materials, coatings, and assemblies.
• Coordinate with Plant/Production Managers, Director of Engineering, Quality Manager, and others to meet schedules and budgets.
• Represent the company as senior coatings expert to customers and stakeholders.
• Provide training and mentoring in technical areas across ACC.
• Develop and improve Product Realization processes and documentation.
