Qualifications

• Have an M.Sc. in synthetic organic chemistry and familiarity with drug discovery processes.
• Minimum 5–7 years of industry drug discovery experience with small molecules.
• Familiarity with peptidomimetics or antibody-targeted therapeutics is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with retrosynthetic analysis and multistep synthesis.

Responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day laboratory activities, executing small‑molecule syntheses and isolation/characterization.
• Troubleshoot data, interpret results, and propose synthetic approaches to new targets.
• Discuss biological data and targets within projects to drive SAR directions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to progress technology and pipeline projects.
• Represent goals of the R&D Chemistry group in meetings and interact with Regeneron groups.
