Formación

• PhD in Chemical Engineering preferred; MS with significant experience considered.
• 6+ years of engineering experience in industrial chemicals or polymerization.
• 4+ years of process R&D experience in academic or industrial setting.
• Technical expertise in chemical engineering focusing on reactions and separations.
• Experience with titration and chromatography.
• Experience collaborating with and directing a laboratory technician.
• Experience assembling lab-scale equipment to test unit operations.
• Experience using plant data and process modeling to solve problems.
• Ability to develop financial justifications for capital investments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead chemical engineering research to support a proprietary chemical manufacturing process.
• Independently identify and create process improvement ideas by studying raw material and energy efficiency trends, analyzing process data, and collaboration with plant engineers.
• Develop chemical process improvement ideas by testing new reactions and separations at lab and pilot scale and via plant data analysis.
• Collaborate with a technician to execute laboratory experiments.
• Work with operations to support manufacturing with technical guidance.
• Aim to become a subject matter expert in key Delrin process technology.
• Interact with global operations, technology, and business leadership.
