Job summary

Graybar in the United States is seeking a Senior Quotations Specialist to manage the quotations process from receipt of a request to submission of a quote. You will collaborate with Graybar sales, customer service, customers and manufacturer reps to gather details and prepare profitable quotations.

You will learn pricing mechanics, work with cost estimates, and use company systems to produce accurate quotes and support sales efforts.

Qualifications

• High School education.
• 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Work with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to determine and price any differences for complete comparisons.
