Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Quotations Specialist in Houston, TX to manage the quotations process from request to quote submission. You will coordinate with Graybar sales and customer service teams, customers and manufacturers to gather details and produce profitable quotations.

You will learn product lines and pricing mechanics, gain familiarity with our computer systems, and collaborate to ensure on-time and accurate quotations that support sales goals.

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of SAP and ability to work with Excel formulas.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year degree in Business or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates of material.
• Contact factories and representatives to obtain cost information.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service representatives.
• Form relationships with customers and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate quotations.
• Compare manufacturers’ bills of material to ascertain and price differences for complete comparisons.
