Heidelberg Materials North America in Gordon, Texas, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily rock quarry operations, drive a production target of 1.2 million tons per year, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate with several departments to optimize production and quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet company goals while delivering material to customers.

Qualifications

• Background in aggregates or building materials.
• Five years of aggregates operations management experience.
• Advanced understanding of geology, mining methods, and regulations.
• Proven leadership skills managing multiple, diverse teams.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and business opportunity identification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the rock quarry in Gordon, Texas to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Achieve a production volume of 1.2 million tons per year while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
