NEBCO, Inc. seeks a Quarry Operations Manager to direct production, distribution and operations for the limestone plant near Beatrice, NE.

The role requires balancing maintenance, production and safety across a 12‑hour day and 5.5 days per week, with on‑call emergency responsiveness and residency within 30 miles. Candidates should have an associate degree or technical training with management experience, plus a valid driver’s license and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical training with 1 year of management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and MSHA Miner certification or ability to obtain.
• Must obtain Explosive Use Permit and qualify as ATF explosives responsible person.
• Knowledge of mining or heavy construction preferred; strong leadership capabilities.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct production, distribution, and operations for the limestone plant.
• Balance maintenance, production, and safety in a 12-hour, 5.5 day workweek.
• Develop maintenance plans and supervision procedures for maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with management, sales, procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance throughout operations.
