Job summary

NEBCO, Inc. is seeking a Sand & Gravel Operations Supervisor to provide day-to-day direction, planning and supervision of staff and materials.

You will ensure compliance with MSHA/Regulatory standards, coordinate staffing, and oversee resource allocation to meet project goals. The role requires an associate degree and at least one year of management experience, with knowledge of mining or heavy construction.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and management experience required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Background in mining or heavy construction is helpful.
• MSHA Miner certification or ability to obtain within reasonable time after hire.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets MSHA, Federal, State, and local policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
• Reviews project needs and plans to determine time frame, staffing and resource requirements.
• Monitors MSHA compliance; works with inspectors during inspections and audits.
• Staffing, training, and performance management of personnel; discipline as needed.
• Manage project cost and schedule performance; recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure equipment is monitored and documented per performance criteria.
