Job summary

D-Wave is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Service Engineer to help build, scale, and support our growing fleet of quantum computing systems. In this role you will be a key technical contributor within a collaborative team responsible for ensuring system performance, reliability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience for our Leap cloud service.

This is a hands-on senior role spanning mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and cryogenic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in multidisciplinary electromechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system builds, installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Escalate and troubleshoot cryogenic and electromechanical systems.
• Drive root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with hardware eng/R&D to improve design and reliability.
• Standardize service procedures and incident responses.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional work.
