Zusammenfassung

NVIDIA Corporation seeks a Senior HPC & Quantum Systems Engineer to architect and operate a first-of-its-kind Accelerated Quantum Computing Center in the Boston area. You will lead the day-to-day ownership of a tightly coupled GPU–quantum platform, bridging scalable HPC with multiple quantum modalities.

You will collaborate across teams to deploy production-grade systems, integrate control interfaces, and optimize workloads spanning simulation, calibration, and machine learning.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of hands-on experience operating HPC or large-scale compute infrastructure in production environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (PhD a plus).
• Strong background in Linux systems administration, job schedulers (Slurm or equivalent), and reliable operation.
• Proven experience in data center environments, including networking, storage, power, and constraints.
• Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and hardware architectures (neutral atom, trapped ion, superconducting, photonic).
• Experience with quantum software environments (CUDA‑Q, Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, Braket) or strong interest.

Aufgaben

• Build, deploy, and operate a hybrid HPC–quantum platform combining large NVIDIA GPU clusters with quantum processors.
• Integrate quantum control systems and access nodes with HPC infrastructure using APIs and orchestration tools.
• Own reliability, performance, and lifecycle management of the quantum environment and associated Linux/HPC stack.
• Collaborate with networking and facilities to ensure power, cooling, timing, and low-latency connectivity meet hardware needs.
• Interface with quantum hardware partners to define hosting, architecture, and integration requirements.
• Deploy, optimize, and benchmark hybrid workloads across simulation, optimization, and ML tasks.
