Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with quantum computing and cryptography in large orgs or government agencies
• Expertise in quantum mechanics, algorithms (Shor, Grover), and information theory
• Experience with PQC standards and post-quantum cryptography
• Familiarity with cryptographic standards (NIST, ISO/IEC 19790) and simulation tools
• Experience in project management in large, complex environments
• W-2 employment and US citizenship
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Ability to communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership
• Security clearance: eligible for Public Trust – Level 4

Responsibilities

• Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using Python/C++/Java
• Advise on migration plans to PQC and post-quantum cryptography strategies
• Assess cryptographic inventory and define migration priorities
• Communicate quantum risk to leadership and stakeholders
• Provide policy inputs for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC standards (FIPS 203, 204, 205)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on government projects
