Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead subcontractor accounts on major infrastructure/rail projects, using NEC contracts. You will drive cost control, reporting and commercial risk management across JV environments where relevant.

The role is hybrid with a minimum of three days in the Uxbridge office, requiring strong NEC experience, Qs leadership, and collaboration with project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Strong NEC contract experience on large infrastructure civil projects.
• MCInstCES or MRICS
• Experience on rail project advantageous
• Proficient in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop efficient, contract compliant documentation.
• Support procurement through tenders and subcontract docs.
• Manage subcontracts from placement to final account.
• Prepare, review and complete subcontract documentation.
• Prepare and agree interim applications for payment.
• Prepare and agree final accounts with subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams.
