Job summary

Gold Group Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major UK infrastructure project. The role is site-based on a £1bn scheme in the South East, delivering highways, bridges and utilities works with a delivery-focused commercial team.

The successful candidate will lead commercial management across large packages, administer NEC target-cost contracts, and drive cost control, forecasting and reporting in a busy project environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (required).
• RICS/CIOB/ICES membership or working towards it.
• CSCS Professional Qualified Person card is expected or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day commercial management of large packages of work.
• Administer NEC target-cost contracts and manage defined/disallowed costs.
• Own change control, compensation events and risk/ cost reporting.
• Forecast costs, CVRs and commercial reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Collaborate with delivery/design teams to manage commercial risk and interfaces.
