Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior/Managing Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role based in Lincolnshire. You will own projects from pre-construction to final account, driving cost control and commercial success across a varied portfolio typically valued from £500k to £5m.

Join a close-knit team of 10, with a strong culture and opportunities to shape the commercial function. Salary up to £60,000 plus £7,000 car allowance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
• Ability to manage projects independently at senior level or lead across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach and willingness to contribute to team improvements.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects.
• Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payments.
• Overseeing contractual administration (JCT experience advantageous).
• Monitoring project performance and reporting on cost/value.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
• Contributing ideas and improvements to processes and team performance.
