Zusammenfassung

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on a major infrastructure project in London. You will collaborate with the operational team, subcontractors and the client to ensure strong commercial performance throughout delivery.

You will manage CVRs, forecasts, valuations, variations, claims and final accounts while supporting tendering and providing commercial input into bids. Travel to Southampton 1-2 days per week is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong experience in construction or specialist contracting.
• Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience with CVRs, forecasting, valuations, variations, claims and final accounts.
• Experience on infrastructure, structural steel, reinforced concrete, rail, M&E or other technically complex projects.

Aufgaben

• Managing monthly CVRs, forecasts, valuations and commercial reporting.
• Monitoring project costs, margins, commercial risks and opportunities.
• Leading claims, variations and final account negotiations.
• Managing subcontract procurement, payments and commercial performance.
• Providing clear commercial and contractual advice to the project team.
• Supporting audits and ensuring robust commercial controls are maintained.
• Working with operational teams to align commercial and project delivery.
• Supporting tendering and providing commercial input into bids where required.
• Managing commercial issues and disputes professionally and commercially.
• Supporting and developing Assistant and Project Quantity Surveyors
